    Iran’ loading, unloading of commodities decline18.8 percent

    (MENAFN)The loading and unloading of goods fell 18.8 percent at the ports of Iran in the ninth Iranian calendar month Azar (November 21-December 20, 2020), in comparison with the stated month previous year.

    Over 9.13 million tons of commodities have been loaded and unloaded at the ports of country in the stated month of the current year, while the number was 11.24 million tons in the stated period last year, according to Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

    The country’s trade gateways were not closed even a moment in spite of the sanctions and pandemic, declaring that loading and unloading of commodities, especially the necessary goods, are continuously conducted at the ports, stated PMO Head Mohammad Rastad.

    Loading and unloading of goods are being managed continuously at the ports of Iran while the health requirements are completely met, he further said.
