    Turkey's Treasury to recompense USD21.4B debts from domestic markets

    (MENAFN)The Treasury and Finance Ministry declared that Turkey's Treasury will refund debts valued at 156.4 billion Turkish liras (USD21.4 billion) in the coming three months.

    Including 13.7 billion lira (USD1.9 billion) in interest payments, the Treasury will repay 44.6 billion Turkish liras (USD6.1 billion) in external debts.

    In the February-April period, 111.9 billion Turkish liras (USD15.3 billion) of domestic debt redemption are also projected -- around 20 percent of this total will be interest payments, while the rest will be main payment.

    The Treasury will have a loan of 119.6 billion Turkish liras (USD16.4 billion) from domestic markets in the coming three months, stated the ministry's borrowing strategy.
