    Turkey's benchmark stock index ends at 1,533.55 points

    (MENAFN)On Wednesday, Turkey's benchmark stock index ended at 1,533.55 points, increased 1.46 percent.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index increased 22.13 points on Tuesday's close of 1,511.43 points, opening the day at 1,520.80 points.

    The index averaged amid 1,509.18 and 1,532.78 points -- 74 stocks on the index increased and 24 dropped compared to the last close.

    The amount of market rate of the BIST 100 stood at 1.1 trillion Turkish liras (USD161 billion) by market close, with a daily trading rate of 30.1 billion Turkish liras (USD4.20 billion).
