    Iran exports of caviar and sturgeon meat increase

    (MENAFN)A provincial official stated that the export of caviar and sturgeon meat from Iran’s northern Mazandaran province improved 15 percent in this Iranian year, in comparison with the last year same time of span.

    Mazandaran exported over 1,029 kilograms of the stated products valued at USD532, 000 since the year start, according to the director-general of the province’s fisheries department, Hassan Es’haqi.

    He mentioned Britain, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Russia, and United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the main export destinations of the province’s caviar.

    Iran is estimated to pass through a surge in the yearly production of sturgeon meat in the current Iranian year, stated the deputy head of the Iran Fisheries Organization (IFO).
