Turkey to expand its investments in Ethiopia
(MENAFN)According to Ankara's ambassador to the African nation, Turkey plans to increase its investments in Ethiopia which already count to billions of dollars.
Anadolu Agency quoted Yaprak Alp as saying that Turkey's investments in Ethiopia currently stand at USD2.5 billion.
It is ranked as the second-largest investor in Ethiopia after China, with its state-of-the-art textile industries and cable manufacturing firms.
The ambassador's comments came following the Ethiopian Foreign Minister Demeke Mekonnen's scheduled visit to Turkey.
