    Turkey records 15.61 percent yearly increase in consumer prices in February

    (MENAFN)According to the country’s statistical authority, Turkey announced a 15.61 percent yearly increase in consumer prices in last month.

    Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) further declared that the yearly number improved by 0.64 percentage points in February, increasing from 14.97 percent in January.

    The consumer price index increased by 0.91 percent in last month.

    The inflation volume in last month is estimated to be 15.45 percent, according to economist by Anadolu Agency.

    Turkey’s inflation volume target for 2021 is 8 percent, based on the new economic program reported by the government preceding September.
