    Turkey's benchmark stock index closes week at 1,537.89 points

    (MENAFN)At the end of the week Turkey's benchmark stock index ended at 1,537.89 points, decreased 0.01 percent day-on-day.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index decreased 0.15 points on Thursday's close of 1,538.04 points, after opening at 1,533.43 points.

    The index's lowest worth was 1,528.47 points, while its daily high stood at 1,542.41 points.

    The amount of market rate of the BIST 100 reached 1.17 trillion Turkish liras (USD157 billion) by market close, with a daily trading rate of 11.9 billion Turkish liras (USD1.59 billion).

    In comparison with Thursday, over the recent transaction day of the week, 47 stocks on the index increased, 50 dropped, and three were unchanged.
