    Saudi Ground Services report total drop of USD118.9M

    (MENAFN)Saudi Ground cut operating costs since it recorded a drop due to the fall down in global air travel.

    It further stated in a Tadawul stock exchange filing that the company which run 28 airports across the Kingdom and operated over 690,000 flights a year before the pandemic, declaring a total complete drop amounted at SR446.7 million ( USD118.9 million) for 2020.

    It also declared that “Despite the challenges faced by the company in light of the pandemic, Saudi Ground Services has executed several initiatives aimed at increasing the efficiency of operation and thus reducing the impact of the pandemic on the company’s profitability.”

    It added that it had carried out a number of strategies planned at increasing competence which limited what would otherwise have been a much bigger hit to its business.
