    Turkey's benchmark stock index closes Tuesday at 1,570.42 points

    (MENAFN)On Tuesday, Turkey's benchmark stock index posted high all day to end day at 1,570.42 points, increased 0.96 percent.

    On Monday's close, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 14.95 points to end the day at 1,555.47 points, after opening the day at 1,561.78 points.

    The index averaged amid 1,557.54 and 1,572.91 points – 65 stocks on the index increased, 30 dropped, and five were flat in comparison with Monday's close.

    The total amount of market worth of the BIST 100 stood at 1.2 trillion Turkish liras (USD160 billion) by market close, with a daily trading rate of 21.7 billion Turkish liras (USD2.9 billion).
