    Iran passes national budget bill for next year

    (MENAFN)The MPs confirmed the adjusted national budget bill for the next Iranian year, announced in an open session of the Iranian parliament.

    The adjusted bill for the coming year stood at 28.823 quadrillion rials (about USD686.261 billion) at the certified volume of 42,000 rials (USD1.0 dollars).

    The bill that was first proposed to the Iranian parliament in December last year came into 24.357 quadrillion rials (USD579.928 billion), by 20-percent increase from this year’s approved budget.

    The bill put the government’s budget at 9.298 quadrillion rials (USD221.38 billion), as the adjusted number is 13.733 quadrillion rials (about USD326.976 billion).
