Turkey becomes largest producer of electric, integrated vehicles
(MENAFN)According to Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey is going to turn to the top electric vehicle producer of the automotive industry.
The president welcomed the investment of the Ford Otosan, a cooperation of Turkey's largest conglomerate Koc Holding and US automotive giant Ford in Turkey.
He further declared that "Turkey will become the largest production center of commercial electric and integrated vehicles in the future of the automotive industry."
Turkey-based automotive company Ford Otosan said it will inaugurate the first integrated electric vehicle factory of Turkey in the industrial Kocaeli province in coming year to produce new commercial vehicles and batteries.
