    Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court sets new rules to solve disputes related to Coronavirus

    (MENAFN)New rules set by Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court (SC) to support Kingdom’s judiciary agreement with contractual arguments due to the Coronavirus pandemic is going to support urge economic recovery and offer businesses a transparent solution to resolving conflicts.

    The SC declared the rules that lower courts must trail when considering such cases, Arab News quoted Dr. Osama Ghanem Al-Obaidy, a professor of law at the Institute of Public Administration in Riyadh as saying.

    He further declared that “Also, the president of the Supreme Council of Magistracy issued an order directing courts and judges to resume consideration of pandemic-related disputes.”

    Two specific court circuits were chosen to look at contracts affected by the COVID-19 health crisis, and new and resumed cases will be forwarded and given equally amid the two circuits.
