Saudi Arabia’s Aramco records profits of 44.4 percent in 2020

(MENAFN)Its profits in last year dropped by 44.4 percent, recording USD49 billion, stated Saudi Arabia’s state-backed oil company Aramco.

It obtained 138 billion Saudi riyals (around USD49 billion) in last year, in comparison to 330.7 billion riyals (USD88.2 billion) in preceding year.

The decrease was in the light of the Coronavirus pandemic that stirred up the world's energy markets in last year, according to the world's largest oil company.

Aramco chief executive Amin Nasser stated that “In one of the most challenging years in recent history, Aramco demonstrated its unique value proposition through its considerable financial and operational agility."
