    Turkey's benchmark stock index increases at Wednesday’s close

    (MENAFN)On Wednesday, Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,413.86 points, increased 2.65 percent.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index increased 36.44 points from Tuesday's close at 1,377.43 points, after opening the day at 1,377.37 points.

    The index averaged amid 1,371.72 and 1,405.37 points. Ninety-nine stocks on the index increased as one dropped in comparison to the last close.

    The total market amount worth of the BIST 100 stood at 1.08 trillion Turkish liras (USD139 billion) by market close, with a daily trading rate of 30.3 billion Turkish liras (USD4 billion).
