    Iran allocates USD714.2M for mechanization of country’s agricultural sectors

    (MENAFN)About 30 trillion rials (USD714.2 million) were allocated for mechanization of the country’s agricultural sectors in the current Iranian year, according to the head of Iran’s Agricultural Mechanization Development Center.

    The stated funding will be implemented to provide about 30,000 tractors, 800 combine harvesters, and about 50,000 different agricultural machines and equipment used in several sectors like horticulture, livestock, poultry, and aquaculture, stated Kambiz Abbasi.

    The stated funds are going to be injected into the ninth credit line that was opened for the development of the country’s agricultural mechanization, according to IRNA.

    The Agricultural Mechanization Development Center aims to improve the country’s agricultural mechanization coefficient to 2.3 horsepower per hectare in this year, declared the official.
