    Dubai’s non-oil foreign trade stands at USD321.8B

    (MENAFN)Dubai’s non-oil foreign trade stood at 1.185 trillion dirhams (USD321.8 billion) in last year, 13.5 percent beneath the previous year as the Coronavirus pandemic deliberated on activity.

    According to the Dubai Media Office, Total trade rate fell to 100 million tons, from 109 million tons in 2019, while shipments received a 6 percent increase in the second half of the year.

    Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, crown prince of Dubai and chairman of Dubai Executive Council stated that “The exceptional growth performance of Dubai’s external trade sector reflects the emirate’s impressive resilience and its ability to recover and grow amidst international crises.”

    “We were able to quickly renew our momentum of growth and reestablish our global leadership in various sectors.”
