    Sovereign Fund of Egypt declines reports over selling Tahrir Complex

    (MENAFN)The Sovereign Fund of Egypt declined reports that it plans to vend the Tahrir Complex (Mogamma El-Tahrir) to investors.

    The complex was owned by the fund and that presenting it for development, by joining up with investors and partners, was about turning the complex into a multi-purpose building comprising a hotel, commercial, administrative and cultural elements, it further declared.

    The development process would be according to methods that took into account the building’s historical value. It also stated that this process was along with a plan to make the most of state assets and invest in them to accomplish broader opportunities.

    It inaugurated the first operational steps to expand the complex by completing a prospectus and offering it to foreign and local investors and developers.
