    Turkey's benchmark stock index closes Wednesday at 1,330.48 points

    (MENAFN)On Wednesday, Turkey's benchmark stock index ended at 1,330.48 points, dropped 2.55 percent from the preceding day.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 34.79 points from Tuesday's close of 1,365.27 points, after opening the day at 1,363.87 points.

    The index's lowest rate stood at 1,308.52 points, as its daily high reached 1,365.50 points.

    The total amount of market rate of the BIST 100 stood at 942 billion Turkish liras (USD116 billion) by market close, with a daily trading rate of 15.6 billion Turkish liras (USD2 billion).
