    Saudi Arabia, other top oil, gas producers to implement Paris Agreement on climate change

    (MENAFN)Saudi Arabia and other top oil and gas producers joined to apply the Paris Agreement on climate change and make a step towards accomplishing net zero emissions.

    Other countries that are concluded of the Net Zero Producers Forum are the US, Canada, Norway, and Qatar.

    The Saudi energy ministry is aware of the global impact of climate change, referring to the Kingdom’s commitment to the full implementation of the Paris Agreement.

    A joint statement from the member countries stated that “Canada, Norway, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United States, collectively representing about 40 percent of global oil and gas production, will come together to form a cooperative forum that will develop pragmatic net zero emission strategies.”
