    Recent data shows Ajman hotels occupied more than Dubai in 1Q

    (MENAFN)Ajman hotels are considered more occupied than Dubai in the first quarter as staycationers left the city and headed north.

    The UAE's northern emirates registered some of the best hotel occupancy across the entire region in March, according to recent data from hospitality research group STR.

    Arab News quoted the company as saying that Dubai occupancy for the first three months of 2021 stood at 61.7 percent as Ajman raced ahead with occupancy of 74.8 percent.

    STR further declared that the northern emirates advantaged as popular getaways for staycationers.
