    Turkey's benchmark stock index closed the week at 1,397.82 points, dropped 0.26 percent from the previous close.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index decreased 3.70 points from Thursday's close of 1,401.52 points, opening Friday at 1,399.44 points.

    The BIST 100 averaged amid 1,396.49 points and 1,405.91 points, with 47 stocks on the index increasing, 47 dropped, and six flat from the previous close.

    The benchmark index recorded a daily trading rate of 14.7 billion liras (USD1.8 billion), ending the week with a market rate of about 994 billion Turkish liras (USD121.6 billion).
