Dubai Ruler inaugurates specialized zone to help achieve food security goals
(MENAFN)Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum inaugurated a specialized zone that will support the UAE accomplish its food security goals.
The new Food Tech Valley is going to mark research and development facilities to improve advanced farming technology, and develop innovative agribusiness ideas.
The advance is going to increase the UAE’s food production, stated the Dubai ruler.
He further posted on Twitter that “We launched the first phase of Food Tech Valley, a new modern & vibrant city that will serve as a global destination for start-ups and industry experts in the food ecosystem.”
The UAE leader also declared that “It will host R&D facilities, innovation center, smart food logistics hub and areas for vertical farming.”
