    Turkey’s benchmark stock index ends Tuesday at 1,459.57 points

    (MENAFN)Turkey’s benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,459.57 points, increased 0.37 percent from the last close.

    Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index increased 5.32 points from the last close of 1,454.25 points, opening the day at 1,461.73 points.

    Data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets showed that the price of one ounce of gold rose to USD1, 869.50 by market close, from USD1, 845.80 at the last close.

    The price of Brent crude oil stood at USD69.20 per barrel as of (1510GMT).
