    Saudi Arabia, World Bank to establish International Fund for Comprehensive Tourism

    (MENAFN)According to the Kingdom’s Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with the World Bank, set USD100 million to found the International Fund for Comprehensive Tourism.

    He further stated that “This will be the first and the only global fund dedicated solely to sustainable international tourism growth.”

    “Sustainability, inclusivity, and collaboration,” are the three very important principles the Saudi minister believes will be responsible for the global tourism recovery effort.

    The continuing Coronavirus pandemic affected the tourism sector in a high level. Steps are now being applied by industry leaders to support the sector recover as it finds it way through the impact of the health crisis.
