    Turkey prepares 25 separate analysis reports on key fragile sectors

    (MENAFN)According to a senior official, as part of a Coronavirus response project to increase flexibility against the economic impacts of the pandemic, Turkey set 25 separate analysis reports on key fragile sectors including textiles, logistics, food, machinery and the automotive sector.

    Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank s stated that "This especially helped us with roadmaps to avoid business and supply disruptions."

    He made the declarations in an assembly on the reports that according to him were part of the COVID-19 Response and Resilience Project, done in collaboration with the UN Development Program (UNDP) and funded by Japan.

    "Regional analyses have been made that will constitute an important input in our policy making processes," he added, saying that the initiative was one of the best examples of international collaboration in combating the pandemic.

    He further declared that the COVID-19 Crisis Response and Resilience Project will be part of the recovery of fragile sectors.
