Iran’s export of steel products improves 215 percent
(MENAFN)In the first month of this Iranian year, Iran’s export of steel products rose 215 percent, in comparison to the previous year same time span.
Iran exported 265,000 tons of steel products in the stated month of 2021, as the number stood at 84,000 tons in the first month of 2020, according to a report by the Industry, Mining, and Trade Ministry.
The ministry marked a three-month waiver for some approved steel production units to be able to export steel products especially long sections.
The Industry Ministry limited the exports of steel products and forced all steel producers to propose their products at Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME).
