    Sales of passenger cars, commercial vehicles in Turkey increase 72 percent

    (MENAFN)According to an industry group report, Sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey increased 72 percent annual in the first five months.

    The Automotive Distributors' Association (ODD) stated that as many as 314,882 vehicles were sold across Turkey in January-May of 2021.

    Passenger cars amounted at 79 percent of the sales with 247,977 units, a 69 percent increase from the previous year same time span.

    An amount of 66,905 light commercial vehicles were sold from the first five months, increased 83 percent on an annual basis.
