    Turkey's benchmark stock index closes week at 1,432.93 points

    (MENAFN)The benchmark index marked a daily trading rate of 14.3 billion liras (USD1.65 billion), closing the week with a market rate of 1 trillion Turkish liras (USD116.5 billion).

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index increased 4.80 points from Thursday's close of 1,428.13 points, opening Friday at 1,428.91 points.

    The BIST 100 averaged amid 1,427.40, and 1,435.24 points, with 51 stocks on the index increasing, 40 down, and nine flat from the last close.

    At the end of the week, Turkey's benchmark stock index closed at 1,432.93 points, increased 0.34 percent from the last close.
