    Turkey's automotive production reaches 532,441 million units in 2021

    (MENAFN)According to a sectoral report, Turkey's automotive production, including light commercial vehicles, tractors, and automobiles, reached to 532,441 million units in the first five months of the year.

    The sector recorded a strong recovery with a 28.2 percent improvement annual in the stated period, following dramatic falls in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic measures.

    The automotive production decreased by 11 percent versus 2019 and dropped by 34 percent annual in the in January-May period.

    As the sector exceeded the last year figures, it could not stand at 2018 and 2019 values yet, as the production reached to 712,022 and 625,946 units, respectively.
