    Iran, Syria to discuss improving trade ties

    (MENAFN)Syria’s Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Minister Talal al-Barazi gathered with Iranian Transport and Urban Development Minister to talka bout ways for improving trade relations amid both countries.

    The assembly underlined the matter of facilitating barter trade amid both countries, provider of goods and products essential by the two countries within the framework of the free trade deal amid the two sides, and using the capacities of the two countries' private sectors to improve trade collaboration.

    According to the portal of the Transport Ministry, Eslami, the head of the two countries’ Joint Economic Committee, arrived in Damascus for a four-day visit in which he was planned to talk with senior Syrian officials including Syrian Prime Minister Hussein Arnous.

    The Syrian Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Mohammad Samer al-Khalil halted Eslami when he arrived.
