    Turkey’s benchmark stock index closes on Monday at 1,398.52 points

    (MENAFN)On Monday, Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed at 1,398.52 points, increased by 0.54 percent from the last close.

    Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index gained 7.46 points from the last close of 1,422.06 points, opening the week at 1,388.20 points.

    The index’s lowest rate in the day stood t 1,378.34 points, as its daily high reached 1,398.52 points.

    The total market rate of the BIST 100 stood at 983.37 billion Turkish liras (USD113.49 billion) by market close, among a daily trading rate of 12.4 billion Turkish liras (USD1.4 billion).
