    Turkey’s benchmark stock index closes Monday at 1,373.25 points

    (MENAFN)On Monday, Turkey’s benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,373.25 points, dropped by 1.34 percent from the last close.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index decreased 18.61 points from the last close of 1,391.86 points, opening the day the day at 1,395.16 points.

    The index's lowest value in the day stood at 1,368.24 points, as its daily high reached 1,397.55 points.

    The total market rate of the BIST 100 stood at 966 billion Turkish liras (over USD111.3 billion) by market close, with a daily trading rate of 12.35 billion Turkish liras (USD1.41 billion).
