    Turkey’s benchmark stock index closes Tuesday at 1,371.67 points

    (MENAFN)On Tuesday, Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed at 1,371.67 points, decreased 0.12 percent from the last close.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 1.59 points from the last close of 1,373.25 points, opening the day at 1,371.96 points.

    Data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets showed that the price of one ounce of gold stood at USD1, 769.00 by market close, dropped from USD1, 774.50 at the last close.

    The price of Brent crude oil amounted at USD74.59 per barrel as of 6.26 PM local time (1526GMT).
