    Turk Eximbank makes bond issuances valued at USD750M in foreign markets

    (MENAFN)According to the bank, Turk Eximbank made bond issuances valued at USD750 million with a five-year term in foreign markets to increase investors’ rate.

    A Turk Eximbank statement showed that under the joint global coordination of Citigroup and Standard Chartered Bank, the bond issuance set through ICBC Standard Bank Plc, ING Bank, Mizuho International plc, MUFG Securities, SMBC Nikko Capital Markets Limited, and Societe Generale.

    The bank also declared that "27 percent of the bond was sold to investors in the US, followed by the UK with 27 percent, other European countries with 30 percent, Asia and the Middle East with 16 percent."

    The cost of the transaction is estimated to be around 420 basis points after the swap to the euro, that is the currency favored by Turkish exporters when using loans.
