    Turkey’s benchmark stock index ends Friday at 1,378.28 points

    (MENAFN)On Friday, Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed at 1,378.28 points, increased by 0.39 percent from the last close.

    Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index increased 5.3 points from the last close of 1,372.98 points, after opening the day at 1,376.88 points.

    The amount of market rate of the BIST 100 stood at 1 trillion Turkish liras (USD119 billion) by market close, with a daily trading rate of 10.2 billion Turkish liras (USD1.1 billion).

    Data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets showed that the price of one ounce of gold came on at USD1, 800.50 by market close, dropped from USD1, 811.65 at the last close.
