    Iranian banking system pays USD3.02B to knowledge-based companies

    (MENAFN)In the first quarter of the current Iranian year, the Iranian banking system paid 127.1 trillion rials (USD3.02 billion) of amenities to knowledge-based companies.

    The amount of the stated facilities rose by 247.4 percent in comparison to the last year same time span, the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) stated.

    Bank Melli Iran (BMI) attributed for the biggest share of the paid facilities with an amount of 30.2 trillion rials (about USD719.4 million), followed by Bank Saderat Iran (BSI) with 19.7 trillion rials (about USD397.6 million) of offered facilities.

    Iranian banks paid 191 trillion rials (about USD4.54 billion) of facilities to knowledge-based companies in the first nine months of the last Iranian year.
