    Iran's major steel producers exports 2.78M tons of steel

    (MENAFN)Iran's major steel producers exported more than 2.78 million tons of steel in the January-March period of the current Iranian year that reached 128 percent over the figure of the previous period same time span.

    According to IRNA, the stated producers exported more than 916,236 tons of steel in March of 2021 that amounted at 104 percent higher than the figure of the third month of 2020.

    The highest value of steel exports was made by Khuzestan Steel Company with 523,321 tons, followed by Esfahan Steel Company with 315,844 tons and Mobarakeh Steel Company with 267,861 tons in the second and third places.

    Data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA) declared that Iran’s export of steel in the last Iranian year 1399 dropped 13.1 percent in comparison to the previous year same time span.
