    Central Bank says Turkey's 12-month rolling deficit totals USD29.7B

    (MENAFN)According to the Turkish Central Bank, Turkey's current account balance announced a shortfall of USD1.127 billion in June, dropped USD1.95 billion from the same month 2020.

    The current account deficit remained to narrow for the fourth month consecutively, with June statistics.

    Turkey's 12-month rolling shortfall amounted at almost USD29.68 billion, based on balance of payments figures released by the bank.

    A group of 17 economists' estimations based on an Anadolu Agency survey for the June current account shortfall averaged from USD700 million to USD2.3 billion, with the median at USD1.26 billion.
