Jordan's king expresses condolences over victims of explosion in Lebanon
(MENAFN)Jordan's king stated that Lebanon's stability and prosperity are essential to regional prosperity and progress.
A statement by the Royal Hashemite Court showed that King Abdullah II made the remarks during an assembly in capital Amman with the Lebanese Caretaker Defense Minister Zeina Akar, where the king reiterated Jordan's firm support for the Lebanese people.
The king expressed condolences over the victims of the explosion in Lebanon's Akkar District that killed and injured dozens, stating that Jordan's readiness to offer assistance in treating the wounded.
In addition, he stated that the need to support Lebanon's state institutions and the army to safeguard its stability and unity, calling unified international efforts to start a clear and comprehensive plan to help Lebanon overcome the current crisis.
