Jordan, Qatar to support Palestinians, improve economy
(MENAFN)According to Ayman Safadi, Jordanian Foreign Minister, the country is carrying on the coordination with Qatar to support the Palestinians to find a political horizon and advance economy.
Safadi made the remarks when gathering with his visiting Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Amman, where both diplomats talked about ways of improving mutual ties in several fields.
A Foreign Ministry stated that the discussions tackled regional improvements and efforts towards settling the regional crises, particularly those planning at resolving the Palestinian issue according to the two-state solution, the international law and the Arab Peace Initiative, and supporting the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
