    Turkey's benchmark stock index ends Monday at 1,459.33 points

    (MENAFN)On Monday, Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,459.33 points, increased 1.02 percent from the last close.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index increased 14.70 points from Friday's end of 1,444.63 points, after opening the week at 1,454.91 points.

    The BIST 100 averaged amid 1,453.68 points and 1,463.07 points in Monday's trading –70 stocks on the index increased, 22 dropped, and eight were flat in comparison to the last close.

    The benchmark index marked a daily trading rate of 13.7 billion Turkish liras (USD1.6 billion), ending the day with a market rate of 1.1 trillion Turkish liras (USD129 billion).
