    Value of non-oil trade amid Iran, Eurasian Economic Union reaches USD1.6B

    (MENAFN)According to IRNA, in the first four months of this Iranian year, the rate of non-oil trade between Iran and the members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) surpassed USD1.6 billion to record 93 percent expansion in comparison to the last year same time span.

    Iran has exported more than USD385 million value of goods to the EAEU members in the period under review, 46 percent over the number for the last year same time span, stated Hossein Kakhaki, director-general of the International Cooperation Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

    Kakhaki further declared that in the stated months, the Russian Federation with USD188.926 million, Armenia with USD83.043 million, Kazakhstan with USD53.395 million, Kyrgyzstan with USD24.294 million, and Belarus with USD6.578 million of imports were the top destinations for the Iranian exports to the EAEU.

    The official also stated that Iran’s imports from the block amounted at USD1.252 billion in the stated time span.
