    Turkey’s Treasury to pay off debts valued at USD15B in next 3 months

    (MENAFN)According to the Treasury and Finance Ministry, Turkey’s Treasury is going to refund debts valued at 122.6 billion Turkish liras (some USD15 billion) in the coming three months

    It is going to pay off 29.3 billion Turkish liras (USD3.5 billion) in external debts, including 12.5 billion Turkish liras (USD1.5 billion) in interest payments.

    Some 93.2 billion Turkish liras (USD11.2 billion) of domestic debt improvement is also estimated in the September-November period, with around 28.3 billion Turkish liras (USD3.4 billion) of this amount in interest payments and the rest in principal payment.

    The Treasury is going to take a loan of 107.4 billion Turkish liras (USD13 billion) from domestic markets in the coming three months, stated the ministry's borrowing strategy .
