    Iran to achieve 8 percent economic growth if government manages budget properly

    (MENAFN)IRNA quoted Head of Iran’s Planning and Budget Organization (PBO) as saying that attaining an eight percent economic progress is probable if the government is able to control the budget properly and applies correct planning.

    “We can achieve eight percent economic growth if we try, and it is possible.,” Masoud Mir-Kazemi further declared while speaking in a ceremony on the occasion of the government week.

    The new Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Ehsan Khandouzi stated that certifying economic progress is considered main priorities of the ministry during his tenure.

    “Of course, these short-term measures must be considered in the long-term path toward economic reform,” the official added, saying that the country’s economy needs a number of short-term programs with good effectiveness.
