    Production of crude steel in Iran reaches 17.8M tons in 7 months

    (MENAFN)The recent report released by the World Steel Association (WSA) showed that in Iran the production stood at 17.8 million tons in the first seven months of 2021 to mark a 9.9 percent progress annual.

    In addition, WSA’s report stated that the crude steel output by the world’s top 64 producers amounted at 1.165 billion tons in the said period, marking an improvement of 12.4 percent.

    Iran’s monthly crude steel output reached 2.6 million tons in July of the current year, increased nine percent in comparison to the previous year same time span.

    It further declared that the Islamic Republic preserved its place as the world’s 10th biggest steel producer in the stated period.
