    Egyptian authorities to manufacture Moderna vaccine in Egypt

    (MENAFN)Egyptian authorities are discussing with Moderna, the US pharmaceutical company the production of the vaccine in Egypt, following the successful local manufacturing of the Chinese vaccine for Coronavirus, Sinovac.

    An assembly was held amid the Egyptian officials and Moderna to guarantee its deliver to the country to fight the pandemic with different vaccines, stated Khaled Mujahid, assistant minister of health and population and the official spokesman for the ministry.

    Ina addition, the assembly talked about ways to produce Moderna vaccines in Egypt, the official further declared.

    The Egyptian health minister is planning to allocate a manufacturing line in the factories of the Vacsera Co. to manufacture Moderna vaccine locally, he added.
