Turkish Virgin Galactic enables pilots, passengers to test critical conditions
(MENAFN)A subsidiary of Turkish defense giant Havelsan, a commercial space flight operator Virgin Galactic uses software made by Quantum3D is set to train both pilots and passengers.
According to Havelsan , Virgin Galactic applies the IDX 80 software, integrated with the firm’s award-winning real-time scene management software Mantis.
The software shows off life-like effects that enable pilots and passengers to evaluate critical conditions for example altitude and sightlines.
In addition, the firm has also got an order from another space company for software for space travel simulation.
IDX 80 can also be applied in numerous systems, including fixed-wing aviation, weapons and gunnery systems, maritime, automotive research, development and driving simulators, and land vehicles.
