    Value of trade amid Iran, Eurasian Economic Union reaches USD1.957B in 5 months

    (MENAFN)According to IRNA, the value of trade amid Iran and the members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) surpassed USD1.957 billion in the first five months of this current Iranian year to mark 96 percent enlargement in comparison to the last year same time span.

    Iran exported more than USD420.823 million values of goods to the EAEU members in the period under review, 37 percent over the number for the same period last year, director-general of the International Cooperation Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Hossein Kakhaki stated.

    The official further declared that the Russian Federation with USD222.743 million, Armenia with USD99.683 million, Kazakhstan with USD63.677 million, Kyrgyzstan with USD26.981 million, and Belarus with USD7.738 million of imports were the top destinations for the Iranian exports to the EAEU in the mentioned period.

    Kakhaki also stated that Iran’s imports from the block surpassed USD1.526 billion in the stated time span period, to mark a 59 percent rise in comparison to the same period last year.
