    Saudi KOJ plans to acquire markets, brands in Kingdom

    (MENAFN) The Saudi group that declared a main growth in the UAE via a master franchise deal with US fast-food group Subway, Kamal Osman Jamjoom Group, (KOJ), could follow that move with a big plan in food and beverage in Saudi Arabia.

    Arab News quoted KOJ group chief executive, Hisham Al Amoudi, as saying that “We have an ambitious plan to acquire markets and brands in Saudi Arabia,” without identifying which brands, adding that the move could be applied in 2022.

    He cannot reveal the financial cost of the UAE growth plan, but said it will be a “multi-million dirham initiative” to alter the stores with new training and uniforms for the staff, as well as the stores’ facelift.

    Al Amoudi further declared that “Over the next 12 months, you will see a big difference.”
