    Value of Iran’s non-oil trade increases 47 percent in 6 months

    (MENAFN)According to the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), in the first six months of the current Iranian year, the rate of Iran’s non-oil trade rose 47 percent in comparison to the previous year same time span.

    IRNA quoted Mehdi Mir-Ashrafi as saying that Iran has traded 79.1 million tons of non-oil products valued at USD45 billion with other countries in the stated time.

    The official stated that the six-month non-oil exports stood at 60 million tons worth USD21.8 billion, with a 61-percent of improvement in value and a 30-percent expansion in weight.

    In addition, the IRICA head cited liquefied natural gas, methanol, polyethylene, semi-finished iron products, iron ingots, propane, urea, gasoline, iron rods and cathodes as the main exported products in the mentioned period.
